As a property owner, game reserve manager, or researcher, your dedication to land stewardship and wildlife preservation is of utmost importance. However, identifying the fauna species inhabiting your property or research area presents significant challenges. Without knowledge of the animal species that call a property home, conservation efforts may be applied in the wrong areas, wasting valuable time and important resources.
So, where does one begin? Camera traps, or trail cameras, are the best non-invasive solution to monitor secretive animals. It allows you to monitor animals without disturbing natural behavior, which provides authentic insights into their habits and routines. Although knowing the benefits of remote sensing is one thing, actually implementing the technique is a completely different story. That is where Bionomics Wildlife Monitoring comes in.
My services focus on offering advice, maintenance and data retrieval from cameras that belong to the client. I will integrate a client’s cameras into the monitoring survey and provide data analysis on images captured. I can source camera traps, batteries, and memory cards on request and will bill them separately.
